This is the first time it happened at the worst time.

I have a P52 camera and never had any issues with it until I went on my vacation for the first time. Took 180 pictures. Came back home and iserted a 128MB card in the reader which is hooked up to my tv. Viewed the pictures. Later on tried to transfer them through a USB cable to my computer. The action cancelled itself. I tried several readers after that. It's not a camera problem. The memory stick s not being picked up by any device. My camera is giving me the formatting error. Is there any way of retrieving those pictures ? I have read a lot of comments, but has anyone retrieved them ?
