CRT television video compressed into a 3mm line

JVC AV - 27820 CRT when the rear RCA video jack is wiggled, the video on the screen compresses down into a line; you can still see movement in this 3mm line. now the tv no longer shows any video, the power light just blinks. any help is greatly appreciated!
