Disc Read Error Problems and i need hELP!

Ok so for like the past 2 weeks, my playstation 2 has been saying that "Disc Read Error" everytime i put in a game...I have had this problem previously but my brother sent it into sony and they supposedly fixed it, well now i dont know how to turn it into sony and my brother is gone so can someone please help me!?!
