Relocate or replace the person in your Assembly Dept. that is puttinglarge amounts of grease on the Teflon Gear that comes off the main spline gear of motor. That's a Never do!
Aurora,
This is not a complaint. only a suggestion as to how you may
imtrove your Product and avoid complaints.
Your Shedder model # AS1532X is a good unit. However, you must have uninformed personal in your Assembly Dept.
As a Mechanical Engineer and a Journeyman Tool & Die Mechinist. I must tell you, Never, Never, put gease on a Teflon Gear. especially when it is the main drive gear from
the Spline Gear of the motor. Yes! the teflon gear because it will flex will save the spline fron snapping under
presure. However, adding Grease to the teflon will cause the Spline gear to slip and ride over the teflon gear teeth and chew them up because it is now out of sink.
This is what has happened to my Unit.
Now, If this information helps to improve the Quality of your product and elimenate some complaints.
You may just consider sending me a new Teflon 1st stage drive gear for my broken Unit. I do know how to assemble it correctly.
Thank You for your Time and good luck with your product.
