TV will not turn on.

When I hit the power button or use the remote the power light comes on but nothing happens. I can hear a click when I hit the pwoer button and then there is another click a second later. I have some experience with electronics but I cannot find the service manual for this model. Would the manual for a JVC AV-27D202 be close enough?
