JVC THM 505 Subwoofer cuts off

JVC THM 505 Subwoofer cuts off when the sound goes loud while playing a DVD, I can hear what sounds like a relay dropping out. I must unplug and replug the Cable to the subwoofer to bring back the sound, happens when it is in subround sound mode only. I had it in the shop under JVC extented warranted and they did not correct this problem after 4 weeks. anyone else having this problem? is there a fix.. am I stuck this thing?

I'm having the same problem. Just got off the phone w/ JVC - they were no help.

I have the same problem...just started happening for me after having the unit for about a year...although only recently have I started using it extensively for movies.
