I need the specification of mounting screws for my Panasonic Viera 42" plasma screen

I have a Panasonic Viera and have been given the correct Panasonic cabinet type stand for it. Unfortunately no screws with the stand to attach the TV to the L shape mounting brackets. Anybody know the thread and length of screw required? Panasonic Support website doesn't answer and none of the screws I have tried will start.
