El Kameleon problems (KD -LX1)

My El Kameleon cd receiver(KD-LX1)is experiencing a problem.When i try to play a cd,the face plate comes out and down and only the top half of the readout on the faceplate is visible -the rest is missing.I am able to insert a cd,however,i just receive a message that says "CD PLAY" and there is no music.After about 20-40 seconds,the player ejects the cd.I have tried the reset button on the faceplate over and over again and it has not made a difference.Usually,it will reset it fine,but not with this problem.The radio still works,but i can't play any cds - please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Thanks -Brad
