Camcorder was working fine when I last used it but has been in storage for several years and now it won't work.

I got a manual with it when I bought it but have lost it. It will turn on and start to record or play back but will stop and shows an icon that I believe the manual said it had moisture but am not sure. I have tried drying it out but haven' had any success. Can anyone help? Thanks Francis
