Request for info

I have a Sony KV32DS60U, purchased in 2001, that has not been re-tuned for a number of years. I receive my signal from the Wrekin transmitter in Shropshire. The other night I did an auto retune and found many stations I did not previously have. But, more disturbing to me is that I have lost BBC News 24, which I was watching prior to the retune. It is nowhere to be found on any of the 100 numbers my set allows. I am told that News 24 is now on 80, previously it was on 40. When I select 80 all I get is a blank screen with 303 in the top left hand corner. In addition, when watching BBC1 and pressing 'red' to access BBCi I get a menu that offers MultiScreen News on what appears to be 1001. When I select this my set goes to 80 and all I get is the blank screen described above. Can anyone offer a solution? Does my set need a software update? Thanks for your time, Fred
