Hi there. I also have the same model with the same issue. Because I purchased an extended warranty, it was covered the 1st time it happened. They re-set the CMOS. Then it happened again & because it was the same issue, they took it for repair again & this time replaced the motherboard. That was in Sept 2005. Two days ago, I went to turn it on and NOTHING. I took it to a local shop & they think it's the motherboard. I will most likely purchase a new laptop as the MB with installation will cost me near $1000!
