HomeWe have experienced the same problem with my DSCF717 which I bought in 2004. It mulfunctioned after 1.8 years and quotations for repairing the CCD are ranging from US$400 to $700. This is absurd when the camera cost US$800-1000. Sony should compensat e customers for this substandard product.
