TV SOUND PROBLEM-HELP ME!!!

I have a SONY tv set, model KV-X2972U, built on AE-2B chassis, which is running well, still. In the last time I encountered the following sound problem: if I try to increase the volume, after a certain step (about 1/3 of the maximum volume), this become distorted, cracked and very short interuptions. Can somebody help me? I gratefully thank you if you can send me the repairing solution on the above mail address. thank you
