Sony Handycam DCR-TRV720

I'm getting an error code C32:10 when trying to use new TDK Hi8 tapes. Sometimes these tapes will work but most of the time I get this error shortly after inserting it. When I insert my previously used Sony tapes I don't get the error code. Please help.
