Homefisher cd m-error I have 2 fisher 24 disk cd carosels that both exhibit the same problem. When advancing to another CD the current disk is unloaded, then reloaded 2 times and error M-Error appears in the display. It appears to be a sensor problem but so far I cannot figure it out.Doesn't happen every time. I have cleaned the sensor that seems to indicate a disk is loaded and does not fix problem. Any help appreciated. C. Eby

Hi, I recently acquired a Fisher 24 cd player, and am trying to find a copy of the owners manual, as well as a remote for it....I'd really like to learn how to program this thing! Any help would sure be appreciated! Gregory Prescott, Arizona I have the same Problem, How to get to that peiece and repair it?! thanks I found problem solved on another forum ! It is a "clutch" under a gear consisting of a metal disk, that wears to the point where there is not enough friction to engage gear. The disk "pusher" in the carosel does not retract all the way and will not let the cd unload properly. Just reformed the bent the metal disk to get more friction and problem was solved. |
