I am told the error 20 message is related to four electrolytic capacitors loacted on a small board on the interior left side next to the tape tray. You can remove and replace these. Please let me know if you've resolved this problem since your posting was so long ago.

I am also having the problem and i have at least 4 decks of that problem. The board is not long in production.
