JVC DIGITAL RECORDER GR-DX95U Wont download video to Windows Movie Maker or JVC Image Mixer

1. I tried using the Windows Movie maker camera Icon and the video downloaded "BLACK" 2. I then installed the JVC Image Mixer 1.1 and it would not recognize a cam corder. 3. I went back to Windows movie maker and it finally recognized the JVC drivers but once I pressed capture, received all kinds of errors. 4. I have an HP Multi Media with windows XP. 5. I read on the internet that the JVC Digital video Cameras wont work with XP?? I hope not, I bought it to edit videos! Is there a patch? Help Please?
