Error Code 20

Laura Posted Feb 19, 2006

An Error Code 20 is driving me mad!

Ever since my teenage boys have borrowed my car and played a lot of homemade cds on my stereo, my cd player has been giving me an error code 20. Do I need to have my Pontiac Bonneville Delco stereo looked at or is there something I can do? Any information would be helpful! I am on the verge of using my shotgun on the thing so I can get a new one.

I recently experienced a problem with my 02 Suburban Delco CD player when my daughter used some homemade music cd's. I went to the main fuse box under the hood and removed the radio fuse from the box. I then put the key in the ignition and turned on the accessories to make sure the radio did not come on and then took the kay out. Then I put back the radio fuse, put the key in the ignition again and turned it to accessories. The radio came on and I put in an original music CD and it worked fine. Hope this works for you.
