damaged LCD panel screen

The camcorder was dropped and the screen appears to be cracked on the inside, the glass on the outside is intact and everything else is working fine. I can view some of what I am recording but there is a large black area and "spider" cracks from the bottom upwards. Can I repair this myself by ordering the part? And where do I order the part? Thank you for your help.
