Hi There , I was having the same problem, and it was frustrating, then I install and upgraded to windows media player 10, now am watching video's again. It alway good to to have the latest players on. Microsoft and yahoo are talking rubbish when they say it the proxy or the server. The windows media player that you get install with xp is rubbish.
