Problem with Pinnacle Studio 10

I have recently upgraded to Pinnacle Studio Plus 10 and to say the least I am extremely fed up with it; booting it up takes a ridiculously long time; it will crash and close for no reason (that I can determine); when the render process is complete, it very often plays back very jerkily; grabbing a frame to use as a still image will often cause it to crash; the sound cuts itself out and adding transitions and titles causes yet more problems.
