i had the same prob but i took out the battery put it back in and no chewed tape or anything still leaves problem C:31:23 do u no how to fix it?

No... no idea how to fix it. It seems to resolve itself when I take out, replace battery... but then repeats later. I just need to get all of my video onto VHS tapes so that I can get rid of / sell this camera to someone else!
