Need help with Convergence on JVC TV

I am having problems with the convergence of my JVC AV-48P74. I replaced the two STK-392-150 only to have one go out a couple of minutes later. Now, (after 6 weeks on backorder) I purchased the entire IC board that the chips are on (#SSB 5068A). When I put the new board in, all was OK for about ½ hour… and then the convergence went out again. I did a reset and it worked for a few minutes after auto convergence, however the convergence went out a few minutes later and a resistor on the new IC board started smoking. Anyone have any experience with this problem or can help me out? Thanks Bill
