HomeJVC condensation, can it be fixed or should i save myself the aggrevation of returning problems. JVC GR-D30U I have a condensation, operation paused on my screen. It's been there for 6 months. Can it be fixed and stay fixed? If anyone has any positive feed back on JVC cams working like they should after a problem has been fixed please let me know. I'm thinking about just washing my hands of this cam and starting over with a new one, NOT JVC. I have read so messages about problems with JVC digital cams. Can it be fixed, and is it worth fixing?

I'm on vacation in Hawaii and took the risk of placing my camera minus battery and tape in the oven center rack at 170 degrees for 30 minutes and it worked. Thanks Durward White i put camera in heat at 50 degrees C for 8 hours. did not fix it. Saso, thanks for the info. I'll give it a try and see what happens. The oven thing sounds like a major NO NO, and don't think I'll try that. Thanks again. Bob |
