The sony RM-MC26 remote works great! I have been using it for a month now, with no problems with any functions. I carry my cd player in a case logic cd holder of neoprene that fit around the waistand only let the remote hang out,convenience summer or winter just by reaching under your shirt/blouse or coat and controlling ALL functions except programming, which you'll do before putting the cd player in the pouch anyway.
