I have a JVC video camera model GR-D30U that recently died. It seems to have been shorted out or something like that, because I was using it, set it down for five minutes and when I picked it up again it would not power up either by battery or by the AC adapter. Unfortunately, it still has a tape in it that I would like to retrieve. Is there any way to manually remove the tape from the camcorder? Thanks for any suggestions anyone can offer.
