Job, Thanks for answering. When I try to reformat the memory stick in the camera using the menu the camera does not even recognise the memory stick. Same when I connect the memory stick to the computer using a card reader and USB connection, I get a message to insert disc in E-drive. So no luck there as well unfortunately. cheers, Nick
