not under warrenty any more

hi,I bought my jvc camcoder GR-DX300EK 1.33 megapixel in may2003 and till last november 2005 it was working perfectly and then suddenly it started on a new cassette showing blur lines on display which i noticed after the recording when i watched on tv.after that i tried by changing to new battery,with another new cassette but still same problem.can u advice me what to do other then taking it to dealer which i want to have my last option.best regards.
