My camera (GR-DVL9800) hasn't worked for months due to a "Error 4 unit it safeguard mode" etc. Nothing in the user manual about it, and very little on the web. Then I happened upon this thread. I turned the camera on and immediately gave it several good hits on the bottom with my knuckles. Works like a charm!!! Go figure. -W-
