HomeJVC AV-27920 Hello Working on a JVC AV-27920.Have replaced the vertical ic,a couple of caps,and a couple of diodes.line still across the centre of the screen about one and a half inchs in height.Sound good.Picture can be seen,so I know its in the vertical deflection area.Was there any service bulletins on this chassis.Thanks Rob rob123m@yahoo.ca

Robert you mentioned that you replaced diodes. Did you check D422 the 75V Zener? Also how is the 25V Vcc to the Vertical Out IC? D541 and R541 have been known to open. You did state that you're sure that the problem is in the Vertical Out Circuit but I've seen C914 (470uF 200V) in the Raw DC Supply cause lines in the pix and reduced height. I have the Sams if you need it. Eric |
