connectors transformer hum

i have just briught a second hand dav-sa30 love it but after a while ... about an hour or so i can hear a hum from the transformer.. if i push one side on the top it stops... is there a cure or do i need i new transformer ...also did not com with the spaekers.. but i have my own set up.. front left and right (AR srt 170) centre (jamo) rear (two sony 3way ) sub (15 inch powered) i need the connecters from the back of the sony.. any ideas and transformer price or fix.. someone said to me to remove the cover plate from the transformer and put a little super glue between the fins of the transformer ... please advise thanks sony lover... tv,phones,video,hi-fi all sony
