Disc player will not play all cd's even some that are brand new

I have the CA-MXGT700 model and I am having trouble understanding why it is not reading disc correctly and some that are brand new. I don't know what to do as I have used a new disc cleaner and it works for maybe one disc and that is it. What is the solution to this problem? Is there some type of reset button to see if it will return to normal. Thanks for your time.
