HomeTV won't start I have a JVC AV35750 36" television that is approximately 8 years old. The other day my family and I were watching it, and the screen went dead. The power on LED Just keeps flashing, like it's powering on and off continuously. I do hear something clicking on the inside, but nothing ever comes up on the screen. I've tried unplugging it, but when I plug it back in, it does the same thing. Any suggestions, please help.

I had the same problem with an AV-35750, and it turned out to be a 1000 uF 16 V electrolytic capacitor in the power supply. Hope this helps. Fred Similar issue. Got up this morn and hit the power button. It clicks then shuts right back off. Do post a fix if you find one. I'm having the same problem... at first the power light would cycle 10 or 20 times, making a clicking noise each time and then powering on. Now it won't stop clicking and come on. Seems like a power board relay or solenoid, but I'm going to have to put it in the shop to find out unless one of you found the solution. Even then I may have to go thru a repair service to get the part and install it. Anyone have any luck with this one? Thanks! I have the exact same problem. If you have found the answer, would you please share it with me? Thank you in advance. Charles Tisdale |
