i'm about to do a freelance gig and need some general info about the sony dme8000

any heads-ups or watch-out-fors i need to be aware of or some shortcuts i could use would be greatly appreciated as well as some general what's it capable of knowledge would be helpful. currently i'm using an old dme3000 so any differences / similarities would be nice to know!
