dead tv

My TV went out last night and did the exact same thing that it seems most of you have encountered. According to this chart site, there seems to be a pattern here with this brand/age of tv. I was wondering if anyone has ever able to fix it or get it working again and if yes, how and what were the costs associated with it? Any info you could provide would be very helpful and much appreciated.
