Yes I did - worked like a charm! There was a small circuit board mounted on the back of the tube. Mine had only one dial to turn. I keep a close eye on the unit however as im not sure what kind of electrical shorts could occur. I tested it for a few weeks in the garage when I was out there working then moved it into the house. I agree with the orginal post - the tube wont last long - even now when I turn the the dial to stop the blinking i have these green lines across the screen - only visible when the picture is dark i.e. between breaks etc. Ryan
