Transfering video to computer and which cable to use.

I want to transfer video from my JVC GR-DVL520U model to my Dell computer. I can transfer the still pictures with a USB connector, but how do I transfer the video to the computer. Will a VC-VDV204U DV cable work? If so, how can I tell which one to buy, the 4 pin or 6 pin to hook up to my PC?
