Nope, it's a super VHS-C (S-VHS-C) analog camcorder. I'm not sure of this model but some did come with a USB port which can be used for downloading to a computers. You'd have to be sure it comes with the softeare CD if this be the case. Try JVC (www.jvc.com)on the web, you can access a lot of user manuals there, look for "support & service" on the main page.
