Kids in low socio-economic group want to take videos

Fifth graders in my self-contained class (I teach all core subjects to same kids) want to use video to help them learn. These are 2nd language kids and technology helps them. Any digital camcorders, lights, etc., would be helpful. Thank you for your interest.
