Re: Panasonic PV-DC252D SOFTWEARE

Chris Posted Dec 21, 2005, in response to:George

Hey everyone, I recently bought this camera from my friend (camera and charger only), and he did not give me the softwear for this...Can anyone help me? I am kinda new to this, but I wanna take video and put transfer it onto my computer. I assume I need some kind of USB cable, but don't know the exact kind. If someone can tell me where I can find these things, that would be great!!!!! I am willing to pay whatever. Thanks!!!

I just purchased the Panasonic PV DC252D used from a Pawn shop (Camera only) & was wondering if Chris (above) or someone (preferably in/near the se) had an extra charger they'd like to sell cheap? Also where does it plug up (I see no plug 4 it just an mic, a?v out & svideo under covers at front of unit)? Thanks in advance for any help. Als will need anything else (battery-I know I'll have 2 purchase that new, cords, owners manual & I guess the software I read someone else asking about).

Read above! no software or usb cable. You need a composit video cable and run it to a vcr or if computer you need a video capture card on the computer. Parts solver has the composit video cable.
