Hello... Although you don't mention the manufacturer of your tv, it sounds like you need a new flyback transformer. This unit takes the AC power in and transforms it to DC current and sends the correct voltage to the different powered areas. TV's can be tricky and sometimes dangerous to repair if you're not familiar with the high voltage sections. I'd be EXTREMELY careful if you've never worked on one before. Might want to send it out.... Mo
