by the way I bought all these items in London England. Bought a fire wire and successfuly copied my films to tape and to CDs all in the matter of three months. then it started, remove battery and refit, head cleaning required,error message etc., and safe mode took it to JVC repairer in london,he said that I had to use JVC film cassette(I was using a Sony Cassette they would be pleased
about That)also a JVC head cleaner Etc.,which I bought,worked for about 3 weeks after the repairer had done whatever, Moved to spain. Have not been able to use the recorder any confidence,sometimes the cassette loader will not go down and had to walk about with the recorder open in my hand !
After going into this message board I realise that it appears to be a fault in the recorder and a law suit is being considered or being contested.Please advise how to
get this repaired free of charge.
