Mike, I screwed up my camera trying to fix it. I got the LCD from Sony Singapore Service Center for under SGD 100. I suspect it might be static that killed it, so unless you know what you are doing, else send it in. My last trip there, I went to to check how much for the labour to replace LCD, from memory, I think it will under under $200 all in including LCD. If you are gonna do it yourself, watch out for the BIG capacitor for the flash unit... will give you a good zap if you are not careful... maybe thats how I blew my len unit too... by shorting them together. :) Good luck Luke luke@webesse.com
