thumbs down on Panasonic

My Panasonic telephone ans machine went on the blink for no good reason--so I returned for under-warranty svc. A rebuilt one was returned, but it too went on the blink during the warranty period--so I returned it as well for warranty svc. They refused, and also accused me of "abusing the device"(which they had no proof of, because it was a complete falsehood!) They offered to replace the unit with another refurbished one for more than I could replace it at a local retailer: Here's the lesson, bloggers----My experience was with Panasonic and to the tune of only about $70. When it comes time for warranty service with YOUR big-ticket wide screen HDTV, $300 cell phone, etc where will YOU be with your Panasonic "warranty"???? Here's where I'll be: some other manufacturer.
