Dont fool yourself. There are NO NEW Lasers to be had. The only way to get a NEW laser is from SONY. Thats it. Anyone that tells you different is LYING. Ive been in this repair industry for a long time, & have worked on many PS2's there are LOTS of Chiniese knck off's and system pull's and even "re-manufatcured" bull crAP. You must be authorized with sony to buy replacemnt PS2 lasers. End of story.
