I have a jvc camcorder Model GR-D9OU. One headache after another. I bought the new 5 hr battery. I'm constantly getting Operation Paused, condensation flashing on the screen. I lay it out in the sun on a stool after a hairdryer didn't work. It stopped doing the condensation flashing and starting flashing safeguard mode. Now, it does both. I'm trying to film small projects and it is giving me hell. Pissed! Bummed! Got any ideas or solutions!

I have had battery issues as well. It seems that I have to charge the battery immediately before I want to use it. That is the least of my problems right now though. I cannot get the camera to work at all. The "lens cap" message will not turn off whether it is on or off and recently there are static lines across the lcd screen as well. It will still play the tapes on the lcd screen, so my guess is that there is problem with lens. ???
