Hi I have a JVC AV-27790 which I got for my birthday in 1996. It worked great until 1998, but then the TV-guide plus stopped working. Soon after that, I couldn't get ANY on screen display at all (including the volume display). I can't get any onscreen menus and can't even change channels. Fortunately it's stuck on channel 3 so I have used the VCR for a tuner. Right now, I still have it boxed up since I moved in 2003. Do you think it's worth fixing?
