GR-D30U Tape Ejecting Problems

Hi stacy! Anyways, we have a GR-D30U, and the tape won't eject. The only way it can be ejected is manually by touching two leads to the contacts on the ejecting motor, and when we do that, it ejects just fine. But when you try to eject it manually, it gets stuck just before the top part pops open. Any ideas?
