Is there anything I can do to fix this myself?

While inserting a DVD into the player the DVD was not fully in. After the tray was closed fully I pulled the DVD out. There is now a display message of Tray ERR on the screen. None of the trays will open and the CD/DVD function will not work at all. Is there anything that I can do to correct this? Thank you.
