I need help for cheap cleaning of handy cam so I can send it to my kids.

I have not used this HandyCam in quite some time but was working perfectly when I packed it up a few years ago. My kids live 1500 miles from here after divorce and they have asked for the camera for xmas but it has a dirty head I think. I just played back tapes and the viewfinder shows "vertical rolling" video. The tv monitor does not show the video "rolling" but it comes across as black and white. It appears to me that the tracking adjustment is off. Can anyone advise and also know where I can get it cheaply cleaned or adjusted in Los angeles? Thanks, Joe
